
Installing Icons (stored in ICL icon library format) in Windows 95/98/NT/2000 (The cvaliant.zip file must be unzipped first.) 1. Right click the Windows 95/98/NT/2000 shortcut file whose icon you want to change. 2. Select properties from the drop down menu. 3. Select "Shortcut" tab 4. Select "Change Icon" button. IMPORTANT! - Set the "Change Icon" dialog to show all files by setting "Files of Type" drop-menu to "All Files" Select "Browse", choose the ICL file which contains the icons and open it. Now you can view the contents of the icon library. Double click the icon you want, select "Apply" from the properties menu. Installing "Custom Icon" Format Icons on the Macintosh 1. Select the icon you wish to use. 2. Once you have made your selection, choose "Get Info" from the "File" Menu or press the keystroke Command-i. 3. Then press the "tab" key. A square box should appear selecting the icon on the top left hand corner of the get info window. 4. Select "Copy" from the "Edit" menu, or press Command-C. 5. Close the get info window, or press Command-W. 6. Select the icon (file, folder, hard disk, or floppy disk) you wish to replace with the icon you have just copied. You cannot paste icons into a document which is currently opened with another program. 7. Choose "Get Info" from the "File" Menu or press the keystroke Command-i. 8. Then press the "tab" key. A square box should appear selecting the icon on the top left hand corner of the get info window. 9. Select "Paste" from the "Edit" menu, or press Command-V. 10. Close the get info window, or press Command-W.
